God's Gift

A special gift was given
For all of us to share.
A beautiful girl named Mallory
With blue eyes and blonde flowing hair.

She loved dolls and dancing
And dressing up in pretty clothes.
But she was a tomboy at heart
From her head down to her toes.

She always brightened our day,
Giving us reason for hope.
She shared her great love of life,
Her world was a kaleidoscope.

Lord, we pray for strength and courage
In accepting her new home.
But believing in Your love and salvation,
We know we're not alone.

Thank you Lord, for your precious gift
And showing us the way.
Please take care of our little girl
Until we join her, one glorious day.
